Crack some crackers

I've learnt something yesterday.

And that's humility.

I find that there are many people who might have plenty of experience and are in high places but when they are suddenly put to the starting line, there's a lot of ugly traits that starts to appear.

I'm sure it's not an easy task just to stand low when all the while you've been dealing with highly profilic individuals but i guess it all comes down to ego. I have my own as well. And hopefully that's not how i'm gonna turn out to be.

Anyway, i'm flying back tomorrow night. Happy Chinese New Year!

Hip hop y'all

Boy, do i have a new found respect for hip hop!

I've always dissed hip hop cause i had always thought it's easy stuff making one since it's mostly about the beat.

I'm in the middle of mixing one hip hop track and i'm having the hardest time. It's not easy man! Timbaland is my new hero!

We try and we try

So 2008 has come to a closure and now we've welcomed 2009. I know many who had their shares of ups and downs but if i had to say one thing, it's good riddance 2008. Not in a bad 'thank God it's over' kinda way though but more like 'phew...i've made it through' and i'm still in one piece! You never know what you're running into till the last corner and bang you walked into a wall.

Did you ever realize that life has a way of making you think that you've always got things under control only to find that our grasp just wasn't tight enough or for whatever reason and it runs like sand through your fingers? Taking precautions might be a good idea for once.

But anyway, how's the resolution counter doing this year? I think i have a whole list of them but i just never bothered to sort them out. I'm just not that disciplined to stick to one anyway. I do however have a goal this year and that's as far as i would mention. Not much but hey, it's just my way of saying i'm still alive.

Chinese New Year up next so that's a biggie for me. Hopefully i'll get to go back and have a lil family time inclusive of all expense paid accomodation and food! Not a bad deal considering how much i've spent over this month. When you think about that, being without broadband doesn't seem too evil now does it?

What a joke!

I'm sure you've heard of a certain group of people who propose to boycott american products like colgate, starbucks, mcds, coke etc.

If you wanna do a serious boycott, go all the way man. Don't just stop at f&b and toiletries. Might as well add in Windows since it came from US. But then, even Apple is from there too. O.o

Anyway, it's gonna be an interesting weekend coming with 2 events occuring concurrently. Tomorrow i'll drop by the youth 09 event and hope to catch some action there. Next day i'll be over at the star education fair.
